The ability to add a file (such as PDF or JPEG) to sales orders. Or a file link to a google drive file.
Why is this feature important?
We get sent in orders by reps and agents by email or fax for their customers. Sometimes the end customer requests a copy of the original order which we then have to send back to them usually wasting a couple of days with back and forth correspondence. It would allow the ability to quickly reference any documents relating to the original order if there was a query raised.
Please describe how you would use this feature:
When entering a Sales Order you would have the option to attached a file or google drive document to that SO. When you email the customer confirmation the file is attached to the email or a link is provided to view and download the file.
This is currently a standard thing in Quickbooks and really helps when a customer requests this.
If we do not work on this feature, how will this impact your business?
It’s not vital by would defiantly be a great help.
